Judge your favorites in a amateur photo contest and see how wine barrels are made.

Each year thousands of people flock to McMinnville for the food, fun and entertainment. This community festival, in it's 49th year, observes the historical importance of the once thriving turkey business in the surrounding county.

Carlton's Walk in the Park
August 1 & 2

Carlton's Walk in the Park, a benefit for local charities, combines fabulous artists and musicians with outstanding local restaurants and wineries for one magical August weekend in Yamhill County's wine country. Garden art, nursery plants, distinctive entrance through a colorful quilt display and a classic car show add to the festivities under the soaring oak trees in Wennerberg Park, just west of historic downtown Carlton. Local social and civic services in the Yamhill-Carlton communities are the sole beneficiaries of this classic summertime Event.

The McMinnville Downtown Association's Farmers' Market is open 1:30-6 pm Thursdays through Oct. 8.

Stop by Cowls Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets and see the latest from area producers.

A guest chef is featured 2-3 pm the first Thursday of each month.
