Tribute to Rockabilly at Linfield College

Jerry Naylor, former lead singer of The Crickets, with Tommy Overstreet and Stan Perkins, will present "A Tribute to the Rockabilly Legends: The 50th Anniversary of Buddy Holly & The Crickets" at 7:30 pm in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium at Linfield College. This orchestral concert features the combined talents of the Chamber Orchestra, Linfield choirs and student vocal soloists. These groups join forces to present J.S. George Fox University Christmas Concerts

George Fox University will present the Christmas concert "O Holy Night!" at two locations. Friday and Saturday’s performances begin at 7:30 pm in Bauman Auditorium on the university’s Newberg campus. Sunday’s matinee is scheduled for 2:30 pm at Village Baptist Church, 330 SW Murray Blvd., in Beaverton. Both choral and instrumental pieces will be presented. Six music ensembles, featuring more than 150 student musicians, will participate. The musicians will tell the Christmas story through well-loved carols and traditional compositions. Pre-concert music will begin at 7 pm Friday and Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors or alumni, and $6 for students and children.
